Using Color Infrared Film
These are some of my most popular images. I used “Kodak Ektachrome Infrared Film” which is sensitive to both the light that we can see and some of the longer length (above 700nm) infra-red radiation. When used with a yellow filter this film shifts the colors. Blue is rendered black, green is blue and red is green. I used this film for the well-known photograph of Bob Dylan on his property in front of an old British cab that he owned as well as photos of The Band, John Lee Hooker, and jazz musicians Albert Ayler, and Ornette Coleman.
The photographs in this website are presented in a Gallery format. Most of them can be specially ordered as prints by contacting Elliott. Some of them are listed in our E shop. Because we wanted this to be primarily a photo experience, not a shopping experience, we did not clutter up the interface with purchase links.
