Project Description

KALEIDOSCAPES through a Kaleidoscopic lens

Familiar sights and signs in New York City and London. These photos were taken with a special kaleidoscopic lens—the Camerascope, made by Peach Reynolds in the 1980’s. I met Peach at a Lincoln Center crafts fair in NYC in the mid 80’s and he fronted me a lens in exchange for some photos I took with it. It took me about ten years to “learn” how to use the lens to get what I considered beautiful photos. In addition to the ones here, I have others of food and flowers, and a few portraits, which will all be posted in the future.

The photographs in this website are presented in a Gallery format. Most of them can be specially ordered as prints by contacting Elliott. Some of them are listed in our E shop. Because we wanted this to be primarily a photo experience, not a shopping experience, we did not clutter up the interface with purchase links.
