PIXELATED ART

Creating Pixelated Art Photos

These images were generated by chance in the late 90’s because my computer was not fast enough to render the changes when I switched from one photo to another. For a brief moment these colorized electronic accidents would appear, in between switching from one image to another…

After being amazed by them for awhile, I began to play with different combinations of color images in order to create cool photos. Then I did a screen capture, which had to be perfectly timed to catch these momentary accidental images. The images were by-chance and impossible to control, so I captured as many as I could (the timing was difficult) and saved the good ones.” The musicians included in this gallery are Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, The Band (Robbie Robertson, Richard Manuel, Garth Hudson, Levon Helm, Rick Danko), John Lee Hooker, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Eric Clapton, B.B. King and Maria Muldaur.”
